As the Founder of RoadAwareness.org, Shaun is dedicated to making our roads safer by educating all road users about road safety and advocates advanced skill training. As a former race car driver, advanced driving instructor, motorcycle & car enthusiast, and journalist, Shaun brings years of diverse experience to the automotive and motorcycle communities.
Shaun has also appeared several times on TV, radio and been covered in various printed and online publications as an advocate for road safety or to discuss road related issues and laws. In addition to being a road safety advocate, Shaun is also an instructor for various advanced driving programs and special events. He was a special guest instructor for the Queensway AUDI Teen Driver Development Program, which focused on arming young drivers with the knowledge and skills they need for our road ways. Scott is a great addition to the RoadAwareness.org team. He doesn’t just preach road safety…he lives it. With over 20 years experience as a driving instructor, he takes road safety issues to heart. Scott is currently the Director of Training for Young Drivers of Canada and also runs his own blog called The Safe Driver.
Scott has been a writer for over four years and will jump at the opportunity to promote safe driving in print, radio and TV. Has has been guest speaker at a variety of functions, all with his goal of spreading the word about safe driving. Scott also appeared as a Judge on Canada’s Worst Driver, Seasons 1-3. |
